Because of the harsh desert climate in the region where they live and their seclusion from outside influences, the Himba have managed to maintain and preserve much of their traditional lifestyle. The women look very impressive with the daily used cream made of fat and red powder. To me she looks like she walked straight out of a Mad Max movie.
